Cape Town showcases some of the most staggering natural beauty that this world has to offer (see left.) The problem is that many believe that the God of salvation can be found in the mountain, trees and streams. The thing is that while the nature of things does reveal the moral law and our conscience does accuse us of breaking it, the world does not reveal the solution to our problem of sin. Only God’s revelation of his Son in Holy Scripture discloses the way of heaven to us: in Christ crucified for our sins.
So, perhaps it is time for you to give that bike ride a miss this Sunday morning and find a church that preaches the gospel. Come and join us and we will show you the way to heaven – that eternal paradise, which will make Table Mountain mountain seem like a koppie in the veld…
